Dear Colleagues,

on behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to invite you for the participation in the 12th International Conference on Research in Didactics of the Sciences, DidSci+ 2024, organized by Faculty of Science, University of Ostrava, Czechia. The conference will be held from June 25th to 27th 2024 in Ostrava, Czechia.

The conference is a continuation of a long-term cooperation among scientists and teachers sharing a scientific interest in STEM education.

We would like to offer places for various forms of presentation of your didactics work: plenary lectures, session lectures and posters. The main conference language is Czech, but also speeches in English, Polish, Slovak or Ukrainian languages are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you in Ostrava.

General info

  • Guidelines: The template includes all detailed instructions for preparing manuscripts. All extended abstracts must be prepared to abide by these guidelines. Well-prepared manuscripts will enable us to rapidly prepare the final version of the conference proceedings.
  • Important Points: Before you start writing, after the first opening, please look carefully at the final section entitled Summary: Important Points to Consider when Preparing Your Paper (at the end of the template).
  • Paper length: The paper's extended abstract should have a maximum length is 2 pages A4.
  • Poster size: A1 (600 x 847 mm), or B1 (707 × 1000 mm).
